EgyptAir is scheduled to operate about 900 domestic and international flights between Cairo and several cities around the world in a busy summer travel season that began on March 29.
The national air carrier is due to launch 649 international
flights and 206 domestic and regional flights every week.
In the summer season, the company will increase its flights
to Middle East region. The flights to the Middle East, Europe and Africa will
top 228, 158 and 111 flights, respectively per week this summer.
The national air carrier will also operate about 71 flights
between Sharm el-Sheikh, Hurghada, Luxor, Aswan an Alexandria.
EgyptAir Express will also operate 28 flights between Cairo
and Aswan, nine flights between Cairo and Abu Simbel, five flights between
Cairo and Sohag and four flights between Cairo and Marsa Alam.
During winter season, EgyptAir Airlines and EgyptAir Express
operated 513 weekly flights, up by 207 flights compared to the same season a
year earlier.
