On 9 March, 19-year old Yara Tarek Negm was crushed between two buses at the German University in Cairo (GUC) campus.  Yara Negm was looking at her mobile and wasn’t aware that a reversing bus was headed towards her.

The day after her death, the student union, along with hundreds of students staged a sit-on, protesting against the lack of safety on universities ground.

Khaled Hesham, a student in the GUC, mentioned that there were previous accidents in which students were injured by the busses. He also believed that negligence was the main cause of Yara’s death.

As an initial response to the growing protests, the university’s administration cancelled classes for three days of mourning for Yara, and to calm students down. It also announced the suspension of student activities for two weeks.

Students mentioned that they will continue the sit-ins until the administration take action and meet their demands.

The Romantic Island

Nowadays newly married couples are distracted by how and where they will spend their honeymoon since they have various options for their honeymoon destination. Moreover, travel agencies create all kind of extraordinary and conventional trips especially for newly married couples. Most people now go to places we've never heard about it before, although many of these places are magnificent, such as, Santorini, Maui, Kauai, Maldives, Florence, and Bora Bora.

In my own point of view Bora Bora is one of the wonderful places that can be your destination for a perfect Honeymoon. Bora Bora for people who doesn't know it is a tropical island in French Polynesia, in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Bora Bora is the most beautiful island in the world. The reason I think it’s a great destination for newly married couples is that it’s known for its romantic atmosphere and its blue lagoon.

When I first heard about Bora Bora and I saw some pictures I was so curious to know more about it. I started reading about it more; Bora Bora’s ancient name was Pora Pora, which means, “first born”. Its official languages are French and Tahitian, but English is widely spoken in tourists’ area. Now it is mainly depending on tourism, therefore the last few years several resorts were built on small islands.

Bora Bora's amazing romantic atmosphere that makes anyone feels relaxed, because its tropical slopes and valleys blossom with hibiscus, the perfect white-sand beaches and luxury resorts and spas with overwater bungalow, and the colored fish animate the coral gardens. Many people consider it the center of the romantic universe.

Resorts have been welcoming couples for over 40 years and their special services have been more than they expected; each resort has designed their own mixture of unique romantic experiences for their guests to choose from. People who were lucky enough to visit Bora Bora claimed that, the best activities to be done there are:

1. Shark and Ray snorkel safari, there you have the opportunity to snorkel in clear water and your guide may then take you to feed sharks and stingrays, you also get to choose either to swim with them or just watch from the boat.
 2. Another thing is Aqua safari with helmets; it is simply walking underwater with an air-supplied helmet and being surrounded by all the tropical fishes.
3. Also one of the amazing things you might do while your visit is Bora Bora glass bottom boat tour, you can watch the amazing tropical fishes through the glass-bottom floor without getting wet.
 4. Lagoon Lovers, Private Honeymoon Photo tour, it’s one of the most romantic things there, it’s having a romantic afternoon abroad the Loveboat for a circle island tour if Bora Bora and you’ll also have a chance to get plenty of couples photo shoot which will leave with you the best memories after leaving. You may also get to go snorkeling in the famous turquoise lagoon.
5. Tahiti Helicopters, this let you enjoy all the fabulous views in Bora Bora in this amazing tour, you’ll get to fly over the island in the helicopter and see amazing views of Mount Otemanu and the turquoise lagoon.

All these thing and more will make anyone’s holiday more than incredible. You’ll get to see things you never saw before and have many new adventures; this will make you have lots of memories that you’ll always remember. I also knew that the best souvenir you can take with you is form Tahitian pearl jewelry; it is one the most special Bora Bora item you can take home with you.

To enjoy more your holiday you must know of course the best time to visit in Bora Bora. Me too I thought of the same thing, after reading I noticed that Bora Bora has only two seasons, summer and winter. Summer months are; December, January, February, and March, this is the wet season in Tahiti because rains and temperature may be high. As for winter months; June, July, August, September, October, it is the dry season as the sunny weather and the blue skies. “Shoulder season” is the months of April through May and November, it is the time that you’ll enjoy in it you holiday since the weather isn't summer or winter, but it is moderate. This season is said to be the best season to have an incredible holiday.

After all these things you knew about Bora Bora I’m pretty sure that it will be your honeymoon distention for all the amazing things you might experience and the Romantic atmosphere that you will enjoy during your stay there.

Oprah Gail Winfrey was born in Kosciusko, Mississippi, on January 29, 1954. She lived a difficult childhood as her parents separated after she was born, so she had to spend her first years in her grandmother’s farm in Kosciusko, at that time her mother was looking for work in the North. At the age of three her grandmother taught her how to read, despite the hard environment that she lived in with her grandmother, Oprah enjoyed the love and support her grandmother gave to her.
Her life totally changed to the worse at the age of six when she moved to live with her mother who worked as a housemaid in Milwaukee. She was abused many times from relatives and other people at that time, when she tried to escape this hard life, she was sent to a juvenile detention home.
At the age of 14 it was a turning point in her life as she went to live with her father who was strict but she found the secure she needed, he made her read books and write reports on it each week. “As strict as he was, he had some concerns about me making the best of my life, and would not accept anything less than what he thought was my best,” says Oprah.

After finishing collage Oprah was interested in media and journalism. She then moved to Maryland and hosted the TV chat show People Are Talking in 1976. The show gained success and stayed for eight years. Oprah’s success led to nationwide fame and took place in Steven Spielberg’s film “The Color Purple” in 1985 the film was based on the Alice Walker novel; she was admired for her role as Sofia. She won an Academy Award for Best supporting actress. From this point Oprah started her own programme “The Oprah Winfrey Show” at 1986, it was successful and a highly watched TV show. Her TV show broken many cultural barriers such as, gay and lesbian issues and remained a great role model for women, specifically for black American women. She also focused of issues of self-help, spirituality, and self- improvement. Oprah promoted many books; her diet book sold many copies and she had many spiritual books on changing the way you look at your life.
Oprah had her own production company in 1986 “Harpo, Inc.” her main aim behind having her own production company was to produce the kind of movies she wanted to see produced.

Oprah's book club started in 1996, and it was a book discussion club segment of Oprah’s TV show “Oprah Winfrey”. It was all about Oprah selecting any new book for her audience to read and they discus it each month. The club stayed for 15 years until Oprah’s TV Show ended in May 25, 2011. A great thing that shouldn’t be ignored is that the club recommended 70 books during its 15 years.

Oprah was the richest African American of the 20th century and she stayed the world’s only black billionaire for three running years, this was according to Forbes magazine. In 2005 Business Week named her the greatest black philanthropist in American history. As Oprah was well known for her charitable work as she donated millions of dollars of her own money to various charities and organizations. A big part from her donation goes to three main charities: The Angel Network, which has been publicized on a large range in her show; her own personal foundation, The Oprah Winfrey Founadtion, and The Oprah Winfrey Operating Foundation, which exclusively support her Leadership Academy in South Africa.

Oprah’s Angel Network, started small in 1997, at that time her main goal was to get audience more involved in giving and volunteering. She used her talk show to publicize the Angel Network; one of the projects done by the Angle Network was the “Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls in South Africa”. She also talked about many issues concerning the importance to donate and created a website that shows information about her show and public charity.
She also supported the Clinton Foundation, which support many causes; treating HIV and AIDS. She is also one of the largest contributors to Free The Children, an organization that is concerned in building schools for children in the developing countries.
With all this charitable work she has truly established herself as a selfless person. She also took place in a lot of charitable projects to help people in improving their life.
